I am going to read that soon! Which is something I say about all of the books I have, but The Shining is on my little shelf of books I want to read soon.
asked: If you had unlimited free time to tackle a book or series of books, what would you read?

God I don’t know. I’ve already read A Song of Ice and Fire, what could be more time consuming than that?
asked: What's a Stephen king book like? Never read one
Added at 6:15pm — 17 notes
Do it! You can’t really ask what one book is like, because he has so many and they are all different. You can’t compare The Gunslinger to The Green Mile or to Full Dark No Stars. Really, the only comparable feature of all of his books is his writing style, it is amazing. He writes so well in both horror and fantasy.
I haven’t read a lot of his books, but I want to read them all. So far I’ve read the first four Dark Tower books, Cell, Full Dark No Stars, The Mist, The Green Mile, and Misery. I think you should definitely pick one of his books up. Do it, read them all. If you love fantasy than definitely read The Dark Tower.

Wizard and Glass (Stephen King) and 12 Years A Slave (Solomon Northup)
asked: What book are you most looking forward to reading?
Added at 6:01pm — 6 notes
Oh dear. I don’t know. All the books? But seriously, a few I’m planning on reading really soon:
- The Death Cure - James Dashner (I’m just waiting for the bestie to mail it up, I finished The Scorch Trials the other day)
- The Wind Through The Keyhole - Stephen King
- Love Alters - Emma Donoghue (a collection of lesbian love stories)
- Vampire Academy - Richelle Mead (to see what all the hype is about)
And I’m hanging out for some series books, the next in The Passage trilogy (Justin Cronin), the All Souls trilogy (Deborah Harkness), and of course, the next ASOIAF book, which doesn’t come out until forever.
