timetravelling-diamond asked: Have you ever read The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern? It's a very nice book (one of my favourites actually). But, well, if you haven't, you should! (:

Someone asked me this earlier this afternoon! I have it, but I haven’t read it yet. I’ll make a mental note to bump it up the to read right now list, so maybe after The Book of Life, Horns, Oryx and Crake, maybe then I’ll read it. That’s the list so far for the next few books.

sombresmiles asked: Infinite Jest: thoughts on it?

I haven’t read it, so currently no thoughts. I do want it though, it’s on my ever growing wants list on goodreads (seriously, that list has 532 books on it, which is a little ambitious, but hey).

whirrlingdervish asked: Have you read The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell? It's a quite an interesting sci-fi novel with an interesting religious twist. I'm surprised I like it as much as I do, it's just one of those interesting books!

booksfrommyshelf:

No I haven’t read it, but I’ll check it out. I want to read more sci-fi (basically I just want to read more of everything.)

I just ordered The Sparrow, hopefully I like it!

Anonymous asked: Have you read the sun also rises? I have to read it for my summer assignment and I've been procrastinating. Maybe hearing that it's a good book will encourage me

No, I haven’t read it.

Followers? Is this book good?

sophiereads-sophiewrites asked: I've been reading North & South on and off since May because I keep getting distracted by A Song of Ice and Fire series and writing instead... My heart is seconds away from cheating with The Phantom of the Opera or The Hunchback of Notre Dame though. What should YOU read? Well, if you're into fantastical, dark circus themes, read Erin Morgenstern's The Night Circus or Angela Carter's Nights at the Circus. Both are brill. <3

How far are you into ASOIaF? I can’t wait until the next one is released. Like I literally cannot wait. Get on that George R.R. Martin, it’s been long enough now. I read online that he was maybe going to release the next one after the end of the last season, but that happened, and still no book. Disappointed.

I have The Night Circus on my shelf somewhere, waiting, like so many others.

I like, never promote people cause I don’t think that that’s what tumblr is for, but this girl right here is seriously awesome, so make her happy!

elijenkins asked: Right now I'm reading Song of the Sparrow by Lisa Ann Sandell to get back into reading. Next is either Lovely, Dark, and Deep by Amy McNamara or reread all of Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk because I was stopped around the end for school work.

I’ve read a couple of Palahniuk novels, got a few more waiting on my shelf.

Anonymous asked: I'm reading the book In The Shadow of Blackbirds! It's a really really good book and I highly recommend it ^-^

Cool, I’ll check it out.
